A little better tomorrow.

01 / In practice

Your guitar.
Your timing, made visible.

A short performance demonstration, with the plugin's score and timing feedback alongside the playing.

About 15 seconds. Press play to watch with sound. The demonstration shows guitar playing alongside scrolling notation, note judgements and Combo feedback; it is not an accuracy benchmark.

02 / The next chapter

TimingJudge,
reimagined.

Arcade builds on the original TimingJudge with five improvements at the heart of the practice experience.

01

Fewer false double triggers

Substantially reduced duplicate detections on low notes, so one played attack is less likely to be counted twice.

02

Improved single-note detection

Refined detection of individual note attacks, including isolated, one-shot notes.

03

Detection you can review

Add, move or remove detected onsets in the waveform editor and recalculate the result. Your original detection data stays intact.

04

A clearer view of your TAB

Follow a continuous horizontal score with staff and TAB views, note colouring and dedicated notation zoom.

05

Stronger legato onset detection

Improved detection of note onsets within legato passages. Timing feedback does not grade pitch accuracy or playing technique.

Detection improvements reflect the developer's testing against the original TimingJudge. Results vary with your guitar, input level, playing and setup.

Play. Review.

04 / Your practice session

From DI to
a clearer next take.

  1. Connect your guitar.

Insert Arcade on a clean guitar DI track, before your amp simulator or distortion. Select the correct input.

  2. Bring your score.

Import a supported Guitar Pro or MusicXML score, choose the track, then align it with the DAW and set your timing offset.

  3. Play, then review.

DAW PLAY or RECORD starts a take. Stop to see the result, inspect the waveform and save any corrections.

05 / Before you start

An evolving instrument
for practice.

Current requirements

  • Windows 10 or 11, x64, and a VST3-compatible DAW.
  • Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime for the interface.
  • Clean electric guitar DI input; fixed DAW tempo for each take.
  • A valid activation key and internet for first activation. A valid activated license can then be used offline.

Audio analysis, takes and scores stay on your computer. Activation does not upload your audio or scores.

Known limitations

  • Low-register detection on 7- and 8-string guitars is not yet sensitive enough and may miss notes.
  • 7- and 8-string TAB scores are not currently supported.
  • Timing analysis only: no pitch-correctness or technique grading.
  • Seeking, looping or changing tempo during a take stops the analysis. No built-in backing-track instrument.
  • Alpha software: compatibility and calibration depend on your setup. Broader DAW and hardware acceptance testing is still in progress.
